Mu Zhuangxue was once a female historian of the Wu Zhou era. She gave her life for reform, ascended through her accumulated merit, and became a minor harvest deity in the Heavenly Court of the original Journey to the West universe, where she befriended the immortals.
After three thousand years of cultivation, she was about to return to her original world when she accidentally fell into a primordial-fantasy world:
Shortly before the calamity of the liches, not long after Nüwa created humanity.
Though the Jade Pure lineage of Kunlun was nominally the same as the one she knew, its members were vicious. Her master, Yuanshi, despised those “with scales and horns.” Her eldest uncle, Laozi, paid lip service to inaction while secretly manipulating power. Her third uncle, Tongtian, was reckless and fiercely protective of his own. The two Western sages were poachers trying to steal disciples. The twelve candidates for the Golden Immortals were all arrogant. The Heavenly Dao suppressed the Earthly Dao, and the world was on the verge of collapse.
To make matters worse, a parasitic System forced her to steal fortune, but she crushed it with her bare hands. Mu Zhuangxue concealed her cultivation and entered the mountain sect disguised as an ordinary disciple. In secret, she contacted her friends from the original world and used a treasure mirror to summon powerful beings to possess her. She held nightly lessons on benevolence and compassion, vowing to use the warmth of humanity to set the primordial world right and help her master, uncles, senior brothers, and senior sisters rediscover the true meaning of “serenity and inaction.”
