When the soul of an overworked man who died suddenly from working overtime falls into the Great Pirate Era, a young man awakens on a deserted island. A crimson eye branded onto his right eye can see through all things. In his hand is a "demon blade" that can cut through anything, and he can control the gravitational and magnetic fields of all things in heaven and earth. With a casual motion, he can unleash Almighty Push, Universal Pull, or Planetary Devastation. From predicting a saber-toothed tiger's fatal claw strike to analyzing the essence of the Six Powers, these eyes that see through every rule let him stir up the world as an outsider from another realm. He manipulates gravitational fields to lift Ohara's evacuation ship, tears apart the Celestial Dragons' authority with illusions, and cleaves through the cannon fire of the Paramount War with Susanoo's colossal blade.
He sees Ohara amid the bombardment, the darkness of the World Government, the cruelty of the Celestial Dragons, Portgas on the execution platform, and Marines who cry out "Justice" while protecting privilege...
He suddenly understands: individual strength is meaningless.
"It's time for red ideals to take root and blossom across these seas. My ideal nation is red."
He gives up on becoming a hero. He will make the whole world red. Dragon is his first student, and the Revolutionary Army is the first spark he has kindled.
Years later, Imu discovers in terror that the very foundation of their rule has been completely shaken by a thin little book, the Manifesto. When Imu opens the Rinnegan from the Empty Throne, and the Ancient Weapons clash with the source of ocular powers, he will finally uncover the taboo buried in those blood-red eyes and create a new world.
It's a more logical journey through the One Piece fandom, and it's nice to watch.
