Above the wasteland, fireworks are common
The end of the world has come, civilization has collapsed, and zombies are rampant in a world where survival has become the most luxurious desire. Veteran Lu Chen and the timid but tenacious Su Xiao struggled to gain a foothold in a suburban warehouse. They relied on the "treasure express truck" they accidentally discovered to obtain weapons, supplies and the confidence to survive.
During an exploration in the back mountain, they met Zhao Feng, a former scout with extraordinary skills, and took in Li Mo, a doctor with good medical skills, to form the initial survival team. The discovery of reservoirs and small hydropower stations gave them stable water sources and electricity; the emergence of fishing rods and hand-thrown nets added freshness to the dining table.
In the upper reaches of the reservoir, they met the honest old farmer Wang Laoshi, and learned the secret of his hometown Wangjiazhuang - a bunker-style villa with high walls and abundant supplies was left behind for the rich and unkind village chief, but it was occupied by zombies. In order to find a safer home, Lu Chen led his team to formulate a careful plan, work together to clean up the zombies in the village, and collect the massive food reserves left by the villagers: mountains of rice, flour, grain and oil, pickles, bacon, dry goods and miscellaneous grains. The foundation for survival became increasingly solid.
From warehouses to reservoirs, from farms to villages, they huddle together in the wasteland to keep warm, use courage to fight against the threat of zombies, use wisdom to resolve the covetousness of the refugees, and use warmth to build a "home" that belongs to each other. Cleaning up zombies, renovating villas, reclaiming farmland, and stocking up supplies. Every step is full of dangers and challenges, but it is also full of love for life and expectations for the future.
