Transmigrating as Ni Mantian: Defying Fate

After a long day at work, Su Jin wakes up to find she has transmigrated into the doomed villainess Ni Mantian, heiress of Penglai, in the xianxia drama The Journey of Flower.

Faced with a tragic fate she already knows, Su Jin’s survival plan is simple: stay away from the storm at the center, Hua Qiangu! Avoid the cold, nuclear-bomb-like Bai Zihua! Keep a low profile, work hard at cultivating immortality, and quietly use her modern mindset and foreknowledge to change the plot. Her goal is to make it back to Penglai as soon as possible and enjoy life as a happy second-generation immortal.

But the plot has ideas of its own

She deliberately keeps her distance, yet by sheer happenstance, the innocent Hua Qiangu comes to see her as a trustworthy senior disciple;

She tries hard to avoid suspicion, yet keeps crossing paths with Bai Zihua at critical moments;

She only wants to protect herself, yet unknowingly changes the course of many people’s lives…

What leaves her even more rattled is that Bai Zihua, the Venerable Lord who was supposed to care only for all living beings and his little disciple, Xiaogu, is looking at her more and more strangely. Why is that icy gaze gradually filling with curiosity, confusion, and even… an intensity and concern she hardly dares to contemplate?

“Ni Mantian, who are you, really?” His cool voice brooks no argument as he pins her in place.

Su Jin: My lord! I’m just a nobody trying to stay alive! Please let me go! Your wife (no, wait) your disciple is over there! On one side, her tragic ending looms. On the other, an increasingly unpredictable future awaits as the plot veers off course and inexplicable romantic entanglements take hold. Su Jin is close to tears: I just wanted to quietly change my fate. How did both the plot and the male lead go off track? Being the dark moonlight really isn’t easy!
