When the mine is invaded by underground monsters, Dom leads the miners to resist. He meets Lina, a mage who studies monsters. Lina makes an anti-magic potion. Dom uses his stone skin to withstand monster attacks, and finally eliminates the monsters. Dom becomes the permanent guardian of the mine.
