In a turbulent time, the Northland warlord Lu Chengyuan is the most formidable person in power in the North City with a large number of troops and a hidden vision. Yun Shu, a scholarly girl from the south of the Yangtze River, is as gentle as a river. She should have lived a stable life in a deep house, but because her family was involved in power disputes, she was forced to move to the North City to avoid trouble.

On the red candle night, he put the jade pendant into her palm: "I will protect you in this life, just like I protect the lights of thousands of houses in the North City, and let you always be the worry-free Yun Shu in my palm." In the troubled times, the two of them finally found a stable and complete life.
