Maple Leaves Fall Across the Starry River

Maple Leaves Fall Across the Star River is an against-the-heavens legend that begins with destruction and a glimmer of light. Yang Yu, the emperor's son, was born amid celestial wonders, but his birth drew the Dark Great Emperor, who wiped out his entire family overnight. Only Yang Yu and his sister Yang Lan, whose Dao foundation had been utterly destroyed, survived, rescued by a loyal servant at the cost of his life. They fled to Black Mountain City, a remote corner of the mortal realm, where they hid their identities and struggled to survive in the dust for thirteen years.
