The divine dragon Xuanyin is cold and proud as frost, commanding the thunderclouds of the Nine Heavens. In a fit of rage, he can shatter mountains and rivers. The sky fox Jihan is born enchanting, understands the secrets of heaven, and hates nothing more than bowing his head. In the primordial age, gods and demons stood side by side, and dragons and foxes were destined to clash.
They fought fiercely at their first meeting, battling over a treasure until heaven and earth were torn apart. The Jade Emperor was enraged and sealed them in the Illusory Realm of the Great Void, whereupon a thousand-year-old grudge began.
Trapped in a secret realm for fifty years, they endure bone-deep cold poison and entangling lightning tribulations. Though they plot against each other, they hide their concern beneath it all. An accident gives them a chance to reverse their fate.
A resonance concealed between a dragon's reverse scale and a demon's bone can bring ice and fire together, awaken memories of a past life, and break the shackles of the Heavenly Dao.
Beneath the moon, they entwine their necks; blood stains the Three Realms.
