Through some powerful, unknown force, perhaps connected to the Ultimate, the Bronze Gate, or the Snake-Browed Copper Fish, Wang Canghai, the Ming dynasty’s master architect and feng shui expert, and the secret founder of the Wang family, unexpectedly transmigrates through time with his full consciousness or soul intact. He arrives in the modern era of The Grave Robbers' Chronicles and discovers that the “Wang family,” built with the toil of his entire life, has strayed from its original purpose of “monitoring immortality and maintaining balance.” In later generations, it has become a ruthless, twisted terrorist organization, hungry for immortality and bent on controlling everything. He must join forces with the “enemies” of this era, the five members of the The Grave Robbers' Chronicles crew, and venture deep into a legendary tomb connected to the designs of his former life. There, he may get the chance to set the Wang family back on its original course and perhaps uncover the truth behind his transmigration.
