"Paper Planes" is a novel with two male protagonists set in the troubled times of the Republic of China. It tells the story of the deep bond between Shen Zhiheng, a young master from a wealthy family, and Chen Mo, the son of a servant, that spans class and gunpowder. The story begins with their childhood encounter on a paper plane outside the courtyard wall, and ends with the war during the war of resistance against Japan. The two are separated and reunited due to completely different choices. When Shen Zhiheng thought that the silent young man in the past had become the enemy's sharpest claw, he discovered that Chen Mo was carrying a dual identity and struggling to move forward in the abyss of endless darkness. A cold badge, a top-secret operation codenamed "Flying Owl", and life-and-death crises and suspicions tightly entangled the fate of the two. They are close friends in the past, rivals who may be at war with each other today, and they are each other's only light and weakness in troubled times. In this era when the country is overturned and people are unpredictable, trust is as thin as paper and love and hate are as deep as abyss. Can they work together to break through the fog and protect the small but pure hope carried by the original paper plane?

I love it so much. The emotions are written very delicately and the plot is full of ups and downs. It's very exciting! Worth a look
