Synopsis

In the final years of Emperor Wu of the Tang dynasty, the capital Luoyang had finally begun to settle down. After the brilliant detective Di Renjie exposed the Burning Heaven Fire at the Shanjin Bureau, the rebellion in Youzhou, and the Blood Eagle's chain of murders, he retired from public life and settled in the Southern Market, hoping to enjoy his twilight years in peace.
