The Taoist Master Descends the Mountain to Vanquish Demons

Zhang Qingyuan, the youngest generation of disciples at the Celestial Master’s Mansion on Mount Longhu, has spent twenty years cultivating in a secluded mountain temple, mastering the beginnings of the Daoist arts. Then one day, his master sends him a secret letter, ordering him to descend the mountain at once, cultivate in the world, and search for his long-missing martial uncle. Thus, a young Daoist versed in orthodox thunder magic, talismans, and swordsmanship, but unaccustomed to worldly affairs, plunges headfirst into a bizarre modern city and secret realms hidden among the mountains and rivers, where demons lie in wait. Vengeful ghosts claim lives, fox spirits repay kindness, zombies wreak havoc, and monsters bewitch people... Ancient shadows stir beneath the neon lights of the modern world. With a peachwood sword in hand and a Three Pure Ones bell at his waist, Zhang Qingyuan gradually uncovers a vast conspiracy engulfing the Daoist world and writes a legend of a modern-day Daoist vanquishing demons and evil!
