Just You and the Stars

Erl Xingji: When memories become the sharpest weapons, the stardust hides the code to civilization.

On the memory shore of Aichen Star, every cluster of phosphorescence retells a cursed legend. A boy named Azhuo, born with a cyan birthmark, encounters a ghost in a purple dress inside a singing crystal. Her tears are exactly the same color as the blood his sister coughs up. Beneath the ashes of the Xingyu civilization, which fell three hundred years ago, the black fog of the Entropy Calamity still gnaws away at memories. And the "memory-eaters" feared for generations by the tribes turn out to be the mark of their ancestors' betrayal of their allies.

When a lunar-eclipse rift tears open, black-robed figures emerge from the stardust, intent on erasing every "remnant of memory." But they do not know that the cursed birthmarks, the burning crystals, and even the Entropy Calamity itself are fragments that have allowed civilization to endure. When the Heart of the Stars lights up in a pool of blood, Azhuo finally understands: Erl Moon is not the eye of a star god. It is millions of names that have not been forgotten, blinking with light across the universe.

There is no absolute good or evil here, only perspectives shaped by memory. Every character is asking the same question: when a civilization has been reduced to fragments, should hatred bury the past, or should stardust piece together the future anew?
