A Romantic Promise Beneath the Cherry Blossom Tree

Female Lead: Su Yingnuan (Nickname: Nuannuan)

· Personality: Gentle and serene on the outside, sensitive and perceptive within, with a touch of stubbornness. She loves life, pays attention to detail, and is a bit of a romantic. Skilled at drawing and observation, she is devoted in love and cherishes memories. She can be a little scatterbrained at times, but shows courage and resilience when it matters.

· Male Lead: Gu Xichen (Nickname: Chenchen)

· Personality: Cool and distant on the outside, seemingly hard to approach, but actually warm and deeply affectionate. Highly intelligent and an excellent student, he is reserved and even somewhat clumsy when it comes to feelings. He is responsible, though he occasionally lets a barely perceptible vulnerability show. Past experiences have built a wall around his heart, and yet he cannot stay completely calm and composed around the girl in his memories, or the girl who has appeared in his life again.

Synopsis: Childhood friends who were as close as brother and sister lost touch when the boy's family suddenly moved away. Six years later, they unexpectedly meet again at the same university. The boy seems to have completely forgotten the girl and treats her with cold indifference, but she cannot let go of their past bond or the innocent affection deep in her heart. As they cross paths again and again, seemingly by chance but perhaps inevitably, she resolves to uncover the truth behind his change and the secret of his sudden departure all those years ago. Along the way come misunderstandings and setbacks, as well as the sweetness of their unwittingly growing closer. This is a youthful romance about remembering and forgetting, healing and growing up.
