Win Over the Cold Sword Sovereign Who Killed Me

The good news: I was reborn and bound to a System that can level up!

The bad news: It’s a scheming System, and my target is the man who killed me in my previous life. Fail, and I die on the spot.

(I’m really at a loss for words.)

The System’s task is here: “Get ‘accidentally’ grazed by his sword energy.”

I nervously went to provoke him. He treated my injury with a cold expression, but when our fingertips touched, his hand trembled.

Me: “Grand Ancestor Martial Uncle, why is your hand so hot?”

Him: (Pulling his hand back in a panic) “...You talk too much.”

The System’s next task is here: “Kiss his cheek while ‘sleepwalking.’”

I nervously played the part to the hilt. He suddenly opened his eyes and grabbed me, the tips of his ears so red they looked ready to drip blood.

Me: “Grand Ancestor Martial Uncle, I think I was dreaming...”

Him: (Through gritted teeth) “...Go back to bed!”

And the System’s next task is here: “Recreate his sword moves in front of him.”

I was practicing with a tree branch when, to my surprise, he stepped in to teach me himself, taking my hand from behind.

Me: “Grand Ancestor Martial Uncle, your heart is beating so fast.”

Him: (Fleeing in disarray)

Everyone: “The Sword Venerable’s sword heart... has been shaken!”

Wait, what about that supposedly unfeeling path? Isn’t this mission way too easy?!
