In the "Forgotten Point" in northern Norway, which is shrouded by the aurora all year round, the Lin family, which has guarded a mysterious lighthouse for generations, hides a secret that has lasted for hundreds of years - the lighthouse's wick is not an ordinary fuel, but is lit with the "time memory" of family members. Each generation of watchers must sacrifice their own ten years of memory to maintain the operation of the lighthouse and resist the "fog nightmare" in the deep sea that can swallow up time.
In 2023, Lin Wei, the seventh-generation watchman of his family, was forced to return to his hometown from the Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo when his father suddenly disappeared and the lighthouse wick was on the verge of extinguishing. With resentment towards her father (when she was a child, her father deleted all common memories about her mother in order to guard the lighthouse) and her desire for a "normal life", she tried to break the family curse. However, in the process of repairing the lighthouse, she discovered that the encrypted diary left by her father contained an even more shocking truth: the fog nightmare did not exist naturally, but was the product of a failed transaction between the first generation of Lin family watchmen and the Nordic mysterious organization "Time Order" in 1920. The lighthouse is not only a barrier, but also a prison for the fog nightmare.
As the time for the wick to extinguish approaches, the time in the Forgotten Corner begins to become chaotic - yesterday's waves appear on today's cliffs, a fisherman who has been dead for thirty years suddenly appears in the port, and Lin Wei also frequently falls into fragments of his father's memory. She gradually realized that the key to breaking the curse was not to destroy the lighthouse, but to find the "nucleus of time" hidden by the first generation of watchers, and her father's disappearance was precisely to protect her from being targeted by the Time Order.
With the help of Norwegian folklorist Alia and old lighthouse mechanic Eric, Lin Wei unlocked the diary.
