Giant Python: The Mystery of Qingwu Ridge

Biologist Lin Ye ventures into Qingwu Ridge in western Hunan with half of a strange notebook, searching for her missing mentor. The title page bears a single line: “The giant serpent has awakened. The altar is bleeding.”

As soon as she arrives at Panshe Village, she sees villagers carrying the shredded rain cape of a missing hunter. The amber-colored slime on it matches the notebook's description of the “blue-scaled giant serpent” exactly. The village guide, A Gui, warns her: “Don't touch anything belonging to the mountain spirit, or it will come after you.”

Deep in the rainforest, Lin Ye discovers both her mentor's experiment tag and a mining-site infiltrator collecting snake scales. As her investigation deepens, the truth behind an ancient legend and a series of deranged experiments gradually comes to light: mining at the illicit mine has polluted the environment, provoking the giant serpent that guards the altar, while the “biological agent” her mentor helped develop has made the creature abnormally violent.

Is the hundred-meter serpent, with its flickering tongue and lantern-like eyes, an ancient spirit protecting the ecosystem, or a terrifying monster born of human greed?

As toxic corruption spreads from the altar and the giant serpent's shadow falls over the village, Lin Ye must choose between finding her loved one, exposing the mine's conspiracy, and saving this cursed mountain forest. In the serpent's cold, slit pupils, she sees not pure bloodlust, but... despair.
