The Concept Thief

Chen Kui, a low-ranking Earth official, dies beneath a dump truck while saving a little girl. His soul enters the Beast-of-Burden Continent, where everyone awakens an ability. He becomes the ordinary son of a farm owner. When he comes of age, the only ability he awakens is registered as “Low-Level, Rank One”: “Thief,” which can only make him slightly less noticeable.

No one knows that this ability is actually the “Conceptual Divine Thief,” which stands above the rules of all things. As long as he believes something can be stolen, he can take it for himself, from something as small as an egg or a piece of ore to speed, eyesight, and even time or emotions.

From a fugitive fleeing pursuit, to a lone hunter who accumulates energy by killing strange beasts, to a hidden powerhouse who stirs the continent's tides, Chen Kui wields the most domineering ability beneath the most unremarkable exterior. Stealing the heavens and changing the sun while keeping a low profile, he climbs step by step from a low-level ability user to the pinnacle of world theft.
