The Story of Cultivation's Old Sixth

Zhang Dalu is a farm boy, the sixth child in his family, and everyone calls him “Old Sixth.”

All he wants is to farm, eat, and keep his head down until he lives forever, but he accidentally finds a broken mirror.

It can’t show him his own face, but it can reveal other people’s weaknesses: flaws in their cultivation methods, the dark schemes in their hearts, the fatal gaps in their formations, and even... the cracks in fate itself!

And so, a legend takes shape in the cultivation world:

His cultivation level isn’t high, yet he always sees through his enemies’ moves before they act.

He never meets force with force, yet the big shots somehow end up having terrible luck.

He keeps an incredibly low profile, yet always walks away with the biggest prize at the crucial moment!

When the ancient Dao Ancestor’s game of chess quietly emerges, Zhang Laoliu discovers that the mirror is a wisp of Daoist insight left behind in the mortal world by the Han-surnamed Dao Ancestor who held dominion over karma...

“I just wanted to keep my head down. Why are you forcing me to become the sneaky one?”

Watch how an ordinary mortal uses his knack for underhanded tricks to keep his head down and become the ultimate winner on the chessboard of immortals and Buddhas!
