Black Crow Reef

I spent seven years embedded in a Southeast Asian crime syndicate, waiting for the day we could close the net.

When the SWAT team burst through the door, the leader, Zhou Yu'an, suddenly pulled me into his arms and pressed a gun to my temple.

With everyone watching, he bit my ear. “That encrypted line connects only to my pacemaker.”

“If I die, you’ll never get the list.”

My superior’s urgent orders came through my earpiece: “Agree to all his terms!”

Zhou Yu'an chuckled. “Tell them you’re running away with me.”
