Great Tang: The Ninth Heaven

In his previous life, Yu Liang was a noble of the Great Tang. Naively trusting those closest to him, he was betrayed, his family was destroyed, and he died with his name unjustly stained. Reborn with the memories of his past life, he resolves to take revenge. But his enemies’ greed for power drives them to stop him from exposing their past crimes and ruin his plans. If his hidden identity as someone reborn is revealed, they will hunt him down without mercy. As he pursues revenge, he faces a difficult choice: take revenge quickly and gain power, or uphold justice and avoid harming innocent people. The emotional wounds of his previous life also cloud his judgment in new relationships, while opposing allegiances force him to choose painfully between the old powers and his new allies. When the Great Tang faces invasion, he must gather forces in a short time to defend the realm. Meanwhile, the betrayal of someone he once trusted leaves him struggling to trust anyone. Yet with his intelligence and the advantage of having been reborn, Yu Liang gradually overcomes each obstacle and sets out on a path of revenge against fate. Whether he can protect the Great Tang, avenge himself, and make amends for past regrets remains uncertain.
