Humans directly interact with the digital world through nanochips implanted on the surface of the eyeball—Ocular Mesh Interface (OMI). Information passes across the field of vision like light and shadow, communication relies on thoughts, and life is extremely convenient. Kukosi, an ordinary OMI network maintainer, is addicted to this gorgeous technological dream. Until an unexpected system failure allowed him to glimpse the cracks under the perfect surface - the strange instructions flashing through the data stream, the bizarre "cognitive bias" symptoms of his friends, and the silent manipulation behind the glamor of the city. Once the seeds of doubt are planted, they grow wildly.
