Far-Flung Journeys: A Creation Diary from Scratch

A hard-science-fiction survival and frontier-settlement novel.

Eight modern young adults from different fields, all complete strangers to one another, are chosen by a mysterious being and sent, minds and all, to a vibrant yet perilous alien world.

They are granted eternal youth and extraordinary learning abilities, but deprived of the ability to reproduce and burdened with the weighty mission of “starting from scratch and creating a new civilization.” Leader Li Wei, geologist Marcus, soldier Rina, engineer Chen Jie, doctor Emily, agriculturalist Lin Xiaoman, scholar Gregory, and builder Batur must rely on one another’s expertise and determination to survive in this untamed, fertile land they call “Eden.”
