Lin Fan has always used the Complete Collection of Daoist Spells as his morning exercise routine. Then, while delivering food one day, he discovers that the book is real. Forced to team up with the flamboyant Daoist Zhang Bufan, he starts the “Bufan Agency.” When Su Xiaoxiao, the daughter of the richest man in town, gets caught up in their affairs, she launches into a hilarious pursuit of Lin Fan. The unreliable trio embark on an equally unreliable and uproarious ghost-hunting adventure. In the end, Lin Fan and his teammates unravel the mystery, protect the city, and find love and friendship.
It starts with the newbie facing off against the boss, with no transition period at all.
