In the sweltering heat of June, transfer student Lin Wanxing steps onto the campus of No. 1 High School and has a chance encounter with Lu Zhixia beneath a camphor tree. Lu Zhixia eagerly helps her carry her luggage and find her classroom and dorm, then thoughtfully leaves her his contact information.

Lu Zhixia helps Lin Wanxing make a study plan and patiently tutors her, while Lin Wanxing supports his student council work and cheers him on.
