I, Hongyun, Invite Dao Ancestor Hongjun to Face His Tribulation

Di Jun: “Did that fellow Hongyun really just give Kunpeng the Primordial Purple Qi?”

The Three Pure Ones: “Hongyun is such an idiot.”

Nuwa: “Daoist Hongyun, to give someone else such a fortuitous opportunity is truly noble of you.”

Kunpeng, doubting himself: “Daoist Hongyun, you're really giving it to me?”

Hongyun: “I caused Daoist Kunpeng to lose his seat on the meditation cushion, so it's only right that I compensate you.”

At the third lecture, Hongjun said, “How strange. Why hasn't Hongyun come to the Purple Sky Palace?”

Hongjun: “That ant was supposed to meet his tribulation after leaving the Purple Sky Palace for the third time. Why has he vanished?”

??? I've become the nice-guy Hongyun? Damn it, isn't this a situation where I'm bound to die? I just got here and I'm already doomed?!

No, no. I absolutely can't go back to the Purple Sky Palace. I'll stay in Huoyun Cave and never set foot outside.

A hundred years later

Nuwa: “Daoist Hongyun, why don't you ever leave the house?”

Hongyun: “Oh, I'm lazy.”

Three thousand years later

Zhen Yuanzi: “Old friend Hongyun, I've come to find you. Let's go listen to the Dao at the Purple Sky Palace together.”

Hongyun: “No, no. I wouldn't understand it anyway.”

Hongjun: “Hongyun, you cowardly turtle! Come out if you've got the guts. I'll make sure you die and your soul is destroyed!”

Tens of thousands of years later.

I am Hongyun. I hereby invite Patriarch Hongjun to meet his tribulation.
