After Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, passed away in the 23rd year of Zhenguan (649), his soul had not entered reincarnation. Due to some kind of time and space disturbance or destiny, it traveled to April 25, 1644 (March 19, the 17th year of Chongzhen) and possessed Zhu Youjian, Ming Sizong, who was about to hang himself in Meishan.
Li Shimin retained all of his memories, imperial aspirations, military talents, governance concepts and vague impressions of early Tang technology (such as advanced metallurgy, shipbuilding, military engineering and other concepts in the Tang Dynasty), and was able to combine it with late Ming technology knowledge to generate inspiration.
