Out delivering orders in a torrential downpour, delivery rider Ling Feng swerved to avoid a pedestrian and slammed headfirst into an out-of-control Dayun truck. When he opened his eyes again, he had become a young man in a courtyard compound with the same name, whose parents were dead and who had suffered endless abuse!
As their memories fused, his resentment boiled over. His predecessor had just refused to "lend" grain to the shrew Jia Zhangshi and exposed the scoundrel Xu Damao's scheme to frame him for stealing a chicken. They all joined forces to shove him, and he had died after hitting the cold stone steps!
His home was bare, with only half a sack of moldy cornmeal left. The courtyard was swarming with vicious schemers, all watching him like predators.
Just as Ling Feng's anger was about to erupt, the [Courtyard Scoundrel Reform System] activated in time. Expose schemes and punish scoundrels to earn Wish Points, which can be exchanged for supplies and skills to turn your life around!
Great! He really had hit the jackpot!
In that case, don't blame him for being ruthless. He would settle old scores and new ones all at once!
Xu Damao framed him for stealing a chicken? He'd make sure Xu Damao lost his wife and his money, then got thrown out!
Jia Zhangshi threw tantrums and bullied everyone? He'd ruin her reputation until no one dared take pity on her!
Second Uncle schemed to get a position of authority? He'd make him lose face and watch his dream fall apart!
Granny Deaf played peacemaker and took sides? He'd expose her secrets and leave her to a miserable old age!
From a penniless apprentice to a top technician, then to taking charge of the steel mill and passing the college entrance exams... Ling Feng turns his life around, face-slaps all the scoundrels, and finds success in both his career and love.
When the stormy years arrive, he will ride the waves and forge a new future.
This is the story of a delivery rider in the world of Courtyard Compound Full of Scoundrels, beating up the villains and living life to the fullest!
