Zero is the lowest-ranked cybernetic corpse salvager in Rustbelt City, scraping by by recovering the lingering souls of AIs from the data deep. A sky-high commission leads him to salvage a talking metal sphere called Silver, but it also puts him in the crosshairs of tech tycoons. At his most desperate moment, the bronze pocket watch his father left him suddenly awakens, unleashing a power called “Seal” and driving back an indescribable malice.
From then on, he wields the “Sealing Artifact” in one hand to contain rampaging AI wraiths, while fighting corporate conspiracies with the other. He also discovers that Silver is tied to the shocking secret behind the collapse of the old world. The so-called wasteland is nothing more than a graveyard inside the mind of a creator-level being.
