Wuli: The Demon Forest Awakens

Chen Wuli, son of Chu Yilin, known as the “Most Beautiful Woman in Bashu,” was born with the rare Yin-Yin Physique. Raised from childhood by a reclusive master, he learned peerless martial arts, but deliberately concealed his strength because of the yin energy and seal within him. Thirty years later, he is forced to return to his maternal clan, the Demon Dao Lin, where he faces the complicated affection of his maternal grandfather Chu Pingtian and the crisis threatening the declining sect. Chongling Prefecture has fallen under the control of their enemy, the Great Sword Sect, leaving the Demon Dao Lin with only a small refuge. Chen Wuli turns the tide through an apparently absurd ploy: he stages a beating by gangsters, then outsmarts the Iron Lion Gang and takes back the Qinghe Inn. Enduring humiliation and breaking with convention, he uses strategy and resolve beyond his years to persuade Yu Jiashan, head of the Outer Forest Court, and is appointed to the newly established post of Northwest Division Chief. He now bears the responsibility of reclaiming lost territory and restoring the Demon Dao Lin. This perilous road is full of powerful enemies and conspiracies, and the true extent of Chen Wuli's abilities and mysterious past has only just begun to come to light...
