Eighteen years ago, the reclusive master Li Zizai found an abandoned baby by the sea. The only thing left with the infant was an old, plain gray necklace. As waves crashed around them, the baby babbled, and a thought struck Li Zizai. He named him Li Ganma.
Eighteen years later, Li Ganma had been force-fed an unfathomable set of skills by his master, but all he could do was tell the truth and drive people up the wall. His master kicked him down the mountain to “see the world” and look for clues about his origins.
He soon discovered that “good manners” in the world below were strange. Was robbery a greeting? Was swinging a stick a way of saying hello? Did you have to debate before you could eat a bowl of noodles? Guided by the principle of “being kind to others,” Li Ganma decided to play along with every performance.
And so, the city’s peace was blown to pieces. A single greeting from him made a gang boss spit blood. His plainspoken questions left financial tycoons questioning their lives. He accidentally slapped a martial arts prodigy into a wall, turning him into a bas-relief... He only wanted to find his parents and get a full meal, yet somehow he became a nightmare and a “grandpa” to every power in the city.
