Wu An was a modern-day special forces soldier who unexpectedly transmigrates to the battlefield of the Defense of Sihang Warehouse during the 1937 Battle of Shanghai. She activates a weapon-upgrade System, but faces one challenge after another. The Japanese army, the villains of the story, intends to wipe out the isolated defenders at Sihang Warehouse and seize this strategic stronghold, placing enormous obstacles in Wu An’s way. Time is running out. She must lead the defenders in holding the warehouse and breaking through the Japanese encirclement before the deadline, a task that seems all but impossible. At the same time, she faces a dilemma: weapons from the System could change the course of the battle, but might alter the course of history. New to the battlefield, Wu An is unfamiliar with her surroundings, and the war has depleted resources, making it difficult to replenish weapons and equipment. Her use of advanced weapons leads her own side to suspect her of collaborating with the enemy, leaving her to bear the strain of lies and misunderstandings. Even if she wins in the end, many of her comrades will have fallen, leaving the victory bitter. But with unwavering resolve and the System’s weapons, Wu An fights through mounting pressure to compose a stirring song of sacrifice in the defense of Sihang Warehouse.
