When Lin Fan awoke, he discovered that he had transmigrated to the Journey to the West world, a land teeming with gods and demons. He had even become Lingxu Zi, the unlucky demon who, in the original story, was sent packing by Sun Wukong's staff not long after the start and barely got a line or two!
That was it? The finale right from the start? Lin Fan nearly died on the spot.
Fortunately, the [Heaven-Defying System] urgently bound itself to him!
And so, Journey to the West went completely off the rails
Sun Wukong: “Take my staff, you!”
Lin Fan: “Brother Monkey, hold on! I've got an uncensored, high-definition replay of the Peach Garden livestream. Don't you want to see what the Seven Fairies get up to every day?”
Black Bear Demon: “Brother, I've recently gained some insight from meditating on the Chan teachings...”
Lin Fan: “Stop meditating, big brother! Look at the official copy of the Tathagata's Palm that I redeemed! How about we join forces and turn the Western Heaven upside down?”
