The writing is concise, with thunderous undercurrents in calmness and restraint. The worldview is majestic and strange, and the settings of the gods subvert imagination. The characters are in great tension between divinity and humanity. The plot twists and turns like a roller coaster, and every page is full of surprises, making it impossible to put down.
This book starts off with a high energy. The protagonist goes to the city to be an apprentice, but then he is captured by a cult and sacrificed. Do you think you are summoning an ordinary evil god? As a result, the "Primordial Lord" with a reduced SAN value came directly, full of Void Tentacles + Whispers of Spiritual Pollution, the cultists turned into blood instantly, and the Gram System flavor was directly filled up. The protagonist Jiang Chen is even more tragic and funny. He has become "the darling of the master" inexplicably and is "personally protected" by two inhuman gods 24 hours a day. A black-skinned priest and a silver-haired nun looked gentle on the surface, but in reality they treated him like a rare animal. The way Jiang Chen was complaining crazily but not daring to resist was just me. The plot is like a roller coaster ride and can't stop at all. Demons are surging under the royal city, the church is destroyed, and the city guards are missing. It feels like a huge conspiracy has just been unveiled. The author is very good at digging holes. Now my mind is full of "what do the priests and nuns want to do?" "Will the royal city be sacrificed?" "When will the protagonist fight back?"... In short, if you like gloomy settings, psychotic gods, and male protagonists who are frustrated but have an above-average IQ, this is the book for you! I bet 50 cents that there will definitely be more explosive developments later on.

No need to brag, this is the most popular western fantasy that I have followed recently! The settings, cool moments, and writing are all online. The author is really imaginative, which directly refreshed my understanding of fantasy novels.
The plot has ups and downs, and the writing is smooth and natural.
