(Dual male leads + ensemble cast + powerful bond between two strong leads)
Beneath the peaceful curtain of the surface world, the inner world, the "Echo Realm," is steadily collapsing. The "Remnants of Civilization" from bygone eras and the collective subconscious of intelligent beings, the "Heart Abyss," erode one another, giving rise to monsters that devour reality, the "Warped," and constantly casting despairing "Final Echoes" into the real world.
A group of "Pilgrims," chosen or forced into the fray, bear their own sins and obsessions as they tread the border between reality and illusion, making their way through one "Final Spectacle" after another, each built from despair and memory.
They must draw power from "Relics" found among the ruins of different civilizations, fight the Warped, uncover the truth behind the world's destruction, and, along this "Pilgrimage" doomed to be filled with sacrifice and madness, seek a salvation that may not exist at all, and stop both worlds from sliding into their final silence.
"We heed the sound of annihilation. We walk among the ruins. Amid the echoes of the end, we steal fire to survive."
