"After Mustache Gets a History Book of World War II" tells a story that subverts the trajectory of history: SS soldiers accidentally discovered a mysterious book recording the entire process of World War II in the scorched earth of the Eastern European battlefield. The book's records of the war's direction, tactical mistakes, and general decisions were horrifyingly accurate. The book eventually fell into the hands of Hitler. The paranoid dictator was so impressed by the treasure that he regarded it as an "oracle" to reverse the situation of the war. He began to adjust his strategy according to the instructions in the book - avoiding the trap of Moscow's cold winter, consolidating the North African defense line in advance, and even predicting the Allied landing movements.
At first, history seemed to be really being rewritten: the German offensive was fierce, the Allies were retreating, and the dawn of the Third Reich's "victory" suddenly appeared. But as the dependence on books deepens, strange changes occur one after another: the writing on the pages is inexplicably blurred, the Allied operations deviate from the "script", and the originally clear future begins to distort. Hitler's paranoia and ambitions grew with the blessing of the "prophet", and Karl, a grassroots soldier, witnessed all this. He discovered that this "divine book" was not a salvation, but more like a black hole swallowing reality - every step of trying to tamper with history would trigger an even more out-of-control backlash. When the "standard answers" in the book collide with reality, when human manipulation competes with historical inertia, this gamble in the name of "victory" will eventually lead to an outcome that no one can predict.
