The story begins in Haijing City. The protagonist Lu Chen relies on his keen awareness of space weather to convince his girlfriend Chen Wei and his friend Zhang Dayong before the disaster occurs. The three race against time to raise funds, hoard supplies, and strengthen shelters to cope with the upcoming global disaster.
As the solar storm breaks through the earth's electromagnetic barrier, modern civilization collapses instantly. The city fell into darkness, order collapsed, and the survivors fell into panic and chaos. Lu Chen led the team through the crisis-ridden death city and retreated to suburban shelters, struggling to survive in the desperate situation of rising radiation, lack of resources, and loss of humanity. Not only do they face external plunder and threats, they also have to overcome internal psychological crises and ideological conflicts.
In the long struggle of the apocalypse, Lu Chen and others gradually moved from isolated survival to community building, trying to restore agriculture, handicrafts and even energy systems, establishing connections with other survivors, and fighting powerful enemies together. They realize that true survival is not only the reserve of materials, but also the persistence of knowledge, skills and humanity. Many years later, a new generation grows up in the ruins, with hope gradually brightening. They must not only survive, but also rebuild the dawn of civilization on top of the desolation.
