Mom Made a Joke at My Expense. I Laughed, but She Couldn’t

Mom loves making jokes at the most inappropriate times and places.

At my daughter’s first-birthday party,

she pulled out a fake paternity test and tearfully told my husband,

“Even though my daughter cheated on you and made you raise another man’s child, she’s promised me she’ll change!”

Our friends and relatives were instantly stunned!

I tried desperately to explain, but no one could believe my own mother would make such a thing up.
