[The majestic and powerful pharaoh & the beautiful and weak "prison pet"]
A sandstorm and a flash of lightning transformed her from a modern archaeologist to the pharaoh's prisoner.
Mia never thought that an ordinary archaeological work would actually make her stand in front of this mysterious and solemn Pharaoh. One moment he was at the excavation site in the Valley of the Kings, and the next moment he was in Egypt in the 13th century BC. He was dressed in rags, didn't understand the language, and became a prisoner in a Thebes military camp.
An unintentional move caught the attention of that man as dazzling as the sun god - Ramesses II, who was young, handsome, majestic and held supreme power. His eyes were scrutinizing and irresistibly probing.
He lifted her from the mud, gave her shelter, and taught her the ancient hieroglyphics. His touch was hot, his words were low, and his interest was both a gift and a whirlpool of undercurrents in the palace.
When the majestic Pharaoh retreated, his tall figure shrouded her in the shadow of the curtain, his warm breath almost wrapped around her earlobes, and asked her about the secrets of those "artifacts", Mia couldn't tell whether it was an interrogation or another form of approach.
She holds all the history about his future, but cannot figure out her place in his heart; he holds everything about a country, but cannot control the heart of this "outsider".
Super beautifully written, with a tight storyline
Why, don't you continue writing?😭😭
