[Cold and possessive powerhouse with a hidden obsessive streak vs. sweet, gentle heroine who loves boldly and hates fiercely]

Six years after breaking up with her first love, she is forced to go on a blind date. She never expects her date to be the biological father of her child, Lu Mingxun, the aloof man who looked down on her back then.

He, too, never expected that he would agree to a blind date, something he had always scorned, especially after learning that she already had a child.

“You looked down on me before, so I’m sure you won’t be interested in me now, either. I have somewhere to be, so I’ll leave first.” She hasn’t even risen to go when the man’s calm voice rings out.

“I think this is going very well. Did you bring your ID?”

She stops in her tracks. “What do you need it for?”

“To get a marriage license.”

“...I have a child.”

“I don’t mind.”

Looking at his sincere expression, Yu Qinqiu gives a cold laugh. Why should she forgive him just because he wants to make up?

“I’d marry a dog before I married you.”

Yu Qinqiu never imagined that the aloof Lu Mingxun would dress up like a recent college graduate and become an intern at her company.

Yu Qinqiu: Lu Mingxun has finally lost his mind.

Lu Mingxun: At the office, call me Lu Xiaoxun.

The day he gets his face-slapping comeuppance.

The man smugly takes the woman’s hand, her wedding ring glinting on her finger, and teases her. “Honey, who was it that said she’d marry a dog before marrying me?”

Yu Qinqiu grits her teeth. “What are you trying to say?!”

The man gives a faint smile. “Woof.”
