My Guiding Starlight: The Big Sister at Times Fengjun

(No romantic tension, so read without worry)

What does it take to make it in China’s entertainment industry? Top-notch talent? Nerves of steel? Or... the ability to handle seven “difficult” younger guys?

At 26, Cheng Xinghe arrives at Times Fengjun as the new content director for Teens in Times.

Ma Jiaqi’s meticulousness, Ding Chengxin’s sharpness, Song Yaxuan’s wild imagination, Liu Yaowen’s cool swagger, Zhang Zhenyuan’s gentleness, Yan Haoxiang’s aristocratic air, He Junlin’s mischievous spirit...

Faced with seven distinctive, widely adored top-tier stars, how will she break the ice with sincerity and professionalism, and become the person they trust most, both on camera and off?

She captures their sweat and glory, designs their most electrifying stages, creates their most entertaining variety shows, and uses her gentle strength to protect their fragile dreams.

Fans go from asking, “Who is she?” to cheering, “Director Cheng, protect us!” They can’t help exclaiming, “She really understands them and cares about them!”

But her parents’ disapproval and constant pressure to marry follow her like a shadow: “Can a job looking after celebrities really last?”

Looking at the radiant young men beside her, Cheng Xinghe smiles with quiet conviction. “This is where I belong, and this is my battlefield.”
