"Mystery Borderline" takes Lanjiang City, a fictional city, as the core stage. It describes a high-end reasoning team composed of six protagonists, who deal with complex cases from their respective areas of expertise. They were first hired as the city's "special case consultants" and were gradually involved in a series of suspense cases that seemed independent but were secretly related: bizarre disappearances, serial murders, political and business scandals, and almost perfect forged causes of death... As the investigation progressed, the private pasts and unsolved mysteries of the team members emerged, and the entanglements between the characters, the cases, and each other gradually deepened. Each volume focuses on a new case and its advancement of the main plot, while also revealing a period of personal growth, knots, and inner struggles of team members. Ten volumes later, with the intersection of multiple lines, the ultimate mystery behind all the cases was finally exposed - a long-hidden urban dark network and power group.
