Yue Yaoyao, a little fox who lives by being adorable, is unexpectedly taken in by the emperor and becomes his personal fluffy companion. One day, she takes human form. With an innocent face and the emperor’s protection, she begins a stumbling, chaotic life among humans.

The pitiful little fox who once chased butterflies in the imperial garden transforms into the capital’s infamous little terror. Climbing onto rooftops to tear them apart is an everyday occurrence, leaving the emperor beside himself with worry. Everyone in the palace gives her a wide berth.
Before court each day, the emperor worries about state affairs. After court, he worries about what trouble his fox has gotten into this time. He rubs his temples and sighs, utterly exhausted. “How did the fox I raised turn out like this?”
