My Talismans Are a Little Unorthodox

Though Lin Hao bears a useless spirit root muddled with all five elements, a twist of fate grants him an ancient legacy of talisman arts, setting him on an unconventional path as a talisman cultivator whose results never quite go as planned.

The fireball talismans he draws wobble through the air like a drunkard, his invisibility talismans turn people into chameleons, and his movement talismans make people bounce around without stopping... Every talisman has a bizarre effect, yet at critical moments they somehow hit the mark and pull off one remarkable feat after another. From astounding everyone in the sect's junior competition, to stunning the crowd with talismans during secret-realm adventures, to unleashing the power of bizarre talisman formations on battlefields across the worlds, Lin Hao uses his "unorthodox" talismans to turn the cultivation world upside down, bringing laughter wherever he goes.

This is the tale of a young man with a mixed spirit root who cultivates immortality with talismans and plenty of laughs, forging his own legend. What lies at the end of the talisman path? Lin Hao has one answer: "Happiness, of course!"
