Zhang Liang is so broke he's nearly on the verge of having his soul scattered when he's forced to take over a bizarre “Ghost Matchmaking Agency.”
He thinks all he'll have to do is help ghosts find love, but every client has more ridiculous demands than the last:
An overconfident, painfully average male ghost (requirement: his bride must be the ghost world's Liu Yifei);
A scheming female ghost who can't stay faithful (her motto: “I'm not a flirt, my heart's just been broken into a lot of pieces”);
A materialistic female ghost who only accepts Hell Bank Notes (her ideal partner must own a house by the Bridge of Hel and a boat on the River of Forgetfulness);
And a Daolao ghost whose parents threaten to marry her off at knifepoint (”Mom says if I stay single any longer, she'll poison me so I can reincarnate!”).
What's even more absurd is how often clients ask for cross-species matches:
“Sir, I've fallen for a Painted-Skin demon, but she keeps saying I'm not her type...”
“Master, my son is a fox demon and insists on marrying a zombie girl. Is that appropriate?”
Zhang Liang: “??? You're not even the same species!”
But when scummy ghosts are rotten to the core and up to no good, Zhang Liang blocks them on the spot: “Sorry, our agency promotes positive relationships!”
Fortunately, he gets bound to the [Matchmaking Pitch System], and his silver tongue can fool both the living and the dead:
“A cross-species romance? Sure! But it'll cost extra! Our company offers a ‘Three Realms Matchmaking Package for the People’...”
“Ma'am, a union between the demon and ghost clans is called resource integration and complementary strengths!”
Watch Zhang Liang rise from a broke ghost of a temp worker to the top matchmaking consultant in both the realms of yin and yang, while turning his agency into a publicly listed conglomerate spanning the Three Realms!
