Lin Chen transmigrates to Uncle Jiu's world, where he becomes the eldest disciple of the funeral parlor and awakens the Spirit Mine System. With thunder in his grasp and his sword pointed at the netherworld, he is ready for anything.
But his peaceful days of cultivation are constantly disrupted by his two troublesome junior disciples. Wencai speaks without thinking, and one remark at a Western restaurant, “You really believe what feng shui masters say?” nearly makes Uncle Jiu disown him on the spot. Qiusheng is reckless and impulsive, and stirs up another mess on the eve of a grave relocation.
When Master Ren insists on opening his family's ancestral grave to fulfill a twenty-year-old promise, Uncle Jiu divines a terrible omen. The corpse-nurturing ground is full of hidden danger, and old grudges lie behind the feng shui formation. Lin Chen bears the title of Thunder Department emissary and has the System's shop at his disposal. As a tide of corpse disasters and conspiracies comes crashing in, can he protect the funeral parlor and change the tragedy already set in motion?
This is a clash between cultivation and the mortal world, as well as the hilarious everyday life of a steady eldest disciple and his reckless juniors. Watch Lin Chen sweep away demons and evil spirits with his sword, and command the power of thunder in this bizarre and wondrous world!
