It all began at the final race of the 2025 F2 season in Abu Dhabi. Just 20 years old, Lin Hai raced for AIX, one of the backmarkers in F2. He made a surprise surge that season, narrowly finishing as the runner-up in the standings and securing a seat with Aston Martin in F1 for 2026. But just as he was looking forward to the future, his girlfriend, Su Wan, left him for the arms of the world champion Hansen, a Red Bull driver. Hansen was an arrogant, conceited racer who thought the world of himself. That season, the friction between the two men became a constant talking point in the paddock.
With fierce competition on the F1 circuit, Hansen’s repeated provocations, and the media’s glare, whether friendly or hostile, what lies ahead for Lin Hai in F1? And on his journey through the sport, will he find something more precious than a championship?
[Note 1] This is a bold attempt. It’s my first time writing this kind of story, so it may not be very good, but I’ve done my best. Thank you all for your support.
[Note 2] I’ve tried to keep things as close to reality as possible. All real-life drivers and staff who appear in the novel are portrayed positively. Hansen, the villain, is fictional and is not based on any real-life driver, so please don’t try to match him to anyone!
[Note 3] The novel may portray Red Bull negatively, but the Red Bull team in the story and the real-life Red Bull team are completely different. Just to be absolutely clear, please don’t confuse the two. Thank you!
Good looking so far
Unremarkable. , But it can be seen that the author put a lot of thought into the parts he wanted. My overall feeling is that this is a news documentary report.
