When the dark forces are once again stirring up and eroding the world of Edaria, Wen Zexu, a former knight who carries the secret of the "Dragonborn", and Yin Qiuyue, an arcanist who is pursuing the ancient truth, unexpectedly meet during an attack on ancient ruins.
At first, due to their different identities and purposes, the two were wary of each other and even conflicted. Wen Zexu tried to hide his power and act alone, but Yin Qiuyue determined that he was the key figure to solve the mystery. However, facing a common enemy and successive crises, they had to go hand in hand.

From temporary allies who make use of each other, to tacit partners who share life and death, to indispensable light in each other's lives. They eventually discovered that the resurgent darkness was directly related to the "cataclysm" thousands of years ago and the end of the Age of Dragons. And Wen Zexu's power may be hope, or it may be the beginning of destruction.
