My Ancestral Shrine Connects the Three Realms, and All Beings Bow to the Heavenly Venerable

They were demolishing my family’s old home in Northeast China when I dug up an eerie ancestral register.

Written densely in black ink on red paper were names like “Black Granny” and “Chang Tianlong,” and even “Emperor of Fengdu” and “King Ksitigarbha.”

The demolition crew mocked me for my feudal superstition. That very night, every one of them died mysteriously.

With no other choice, I set out an incense burner and made offerings. Then golden light rippled across the register: “The Age of Dharma’s Decline is over. All immortals return to their rightful places...”

The next moment, thunderclouds churned above the Ninth Heaven, and a hundred thousand heavenly soldiers and generals knelt as one.

“Welcome back, Northeast China’s greatest spirit medium! Reopen the Investiture of the Gods era!”
