A Vicious Princess? No, a Shameless God of War

Lin Xiaoxiao, a modern office worker with a knack for jokes, transmigrates one day into the infamous villainess princess of an old-school tragic romance novel, destined for a miserable end: Xuanyuan Cuihua, later renamed Xuanyuan Juemei! Faced with the reborn heroine, who is determined to kill her, the cold-faced prince who hates her to the bone, and the many factions eyeing her hungrily, Lin Xiaoxiao declares: “I can’t keep grinding. Let’s just destroy everything already!” And so the story takes a sharp turn.

Framed? She uses modern logic and stand-up-comedy-level insults to make the villains question their lives.

Palace intrigue? She counters with “unhinged literature” and the “give-up-and-do-nothing method,” leaving her opponents at a loss.

The original male lead confesses his undying love? She says, “Seriously, you’re so annoying. Don’t get in the way of me enjoying the show!”

She never expected to end up alone, but somehow she catches the attention of the regent, who is said to wield power over the whole court, is handsome and devious, and even has a knack for sarcastic comebacks.

Regent: “The princess seems… quite unwell. How interesting. I’ll have to keep a close eye on her myself.”

From then on, the capital is thrown into chaos as the princess and regent join forces to “help the people” (mostly by dishing out face-slapping and laughs). They deliver one hilarious face-slapping after another, with sweetness turned up to the max!
